Center Stud™ is not a shield. It will not stop a nail from a nail gun. It only offers an extra level of preventing personal injury.
GENERAL SAFETY GUIDELINES FOR CENTER STUD
Please read and follow these general safety guidelines for safe use of Center Stud™ as well as the specific guidance below for use of Center Stud™ directly or with any power tool.
POWER TOOL GUIDE.
Center Stud™ has a guide to assist the proper alignment of the attaching tool, whether it is a nail gun or a power drill. Center Stud™ LLC makes no claims as to the guide, or the tool itself, preventing injury when in use. The only claim made in reference to safety is that when properly used, there may be less likelihood of injury to the builder or others in the vicinity.

Notice is hereby given that any use of Center Stud™ Products indemnifies Center Stud, LLC against any bodily or property damage caused, directly or indirectly, by Center Stud™, Center Stud's Products or their usage.
EXTREME CAUTION IS ADVISED.
Please exercise extreme caution when using or attempting to use Center Stud™ Products. Extreme caution is necessary to prevent personal injuries, property damages and product damages. Although Center Stud™ Products are designed with safety in mind, power tools such as nail guns or power drills are dangerous, and accidents can occur if they are not used properly and safely.

Power tools are dangerous, and accidents can occur if they are not used properly and safely. Please read your power tool’s operations manual and safety guidance before using your power tool with or without Center Stud™ Products.
ALWAYS WEAR PROTECTIVE GEAR.
Protective gear including an ANSI Z87.1 face shield and/or ANSI Z87.1 protective glasses are required as is the use of protective clothing and protective gloves while using Center Stud™ Products.
CHILD SAFETY WARNING.
Children under 18 should not handle or use Center Stud™ Products. Power tools such as nail guns and power drills are dangerous, and accidents can occur if they are not used properly and safely.
ALWAYS EXERCISE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN USING CENTER STUD™ PRODUCTS.
Although Center Stud™ Products are designed with safety in mind, impact of the Center Stud™ Products with fingers, hands, or body parts during use should be avoided.
DO NOT USE CENTER STUD™ PRODUCTS IF THEY ARE DAMAGED IN ANY WAY.
Always check Center Stud™ Products for damage before and after using. Do not use Center Stud™ Products if they are damaged in any way. This can include, but is not limited to, product damages such as cracks, fractures, breaks, or even chips in any part of Center Stud™ Products.
KEEP YOUR FINGERS, HANDS, AND BODY OFF THE NIAL GUN TRIGGER OR DRILL TRIGGER UNTIL YOU ARE READY TO INJECT A NAIL OR A SCREW SAFELY.
Keep your fingers, hands, and body off and away from the nail gun trigger or drill trigger until you are ready to inject a nail or a screw safely.
OBSERVE AND AVOID POTENTIAL OBSTRUCTIONS BEFORE AND DURING USE OF CENTER STUD™.
Center Stud™ Products should not be used in any locations that may cause or create an impact with Center Stud™ Products during nailing or drill rotation or in any locations that contain items that may entangle or disrupt Center Stud™ Products during the use of Center Stud™ products. Examples to avoid include, but are not limited to, nailing or drilling operations in and around confined spaces where an impact may occur, or in locations that contain items that entangle or disrupt Center Stud™ Products during nailing or drill rotation such as loose wires.
Please be sure to look for any potential obstructions both before and during nailing or drilling operations with Center Stud™ Products. If an obstruction is encountered during a nailing or drill operation, immediately cease the nailing or drilling operation, safely clear the obstruction, and examine the Center Stud™ Products for damage. Do not use the Center Stud™ Products if they are damaged in any way.
AVOID USING CENTER STUD™ PRODUCTS WITH PERSONS IN A NAIL GUN'S DIRECT PATH OR AROUND THE ROTATIONAL PLANE OF A DRILL.
Please avoid the use of Center Stud™ Products if a person or persons are in or around the direct path of a nail gun or rotational plane of a drill when using Center Stud™ Products prior to, during, or after operations.
ALWAYS STORE CENTER STUD™ SECURELY.
Center Stud™ should be stored securely with the intent of avoiding any potential damage interaction with other items. A good practice is to store Center Stud™ in a secure dedicated case, possibly the clamshell package it arrives in, or on a safe flat surface where Center Stud™ is both secure in place and far away from any loose tools or other items.
ALWAYS STORE CENTER STUD™ ACCESSORIES SECURELY.
Center Stud™ Accessories should be stored securely with the intent of avoiding any potential damage. A good practice is to store Center Stud™ Accessories in a secure dedicated case.
AVOID DROPPING OR MISHANDLING CENTER STUD™ PRODUCTS.
Do not drop or mishandle Center Stud™ Products. Any impact to Center Stud™ Products can damage the product(s) or property. Always check Center Stud™ Products for damage if they are dropped or mishandled. Always check Center Stud™ Products for damage before and after nailing or drilling operations. Do not use Center Stud™ Products if they are damaged in any way.
